OZZYB DAZZLES THE INDUSTRY WITH HIS FIRST GOSPEL SONG 'U' REIGN



The seven (7) year-old Kid-Star popularly known as OzzyBosco WonderKid, born Master Oziomachukwu Favor Mojekwu has once again validated his Chieftaincy title of “OMENANWATA IGBO” (The Young Achiever). Recently the kid dynamite who has set many unbeaten records within the entertainment industry and beyond was on set in Lagos to shoot the musical video of his soon to be officially released first Gospel single titled “U Reign”. He featured the Legendary Tee Mac (MFR) and gospel music maestros Midnight Crew (the Igwe Crooners) in the hot piece of work loaded with a mixture of danceable beats, classic flute interplay and highly talented gospel music voices. 

The action packed video shoot which was directed by the awesome Lex-Ten had celebrity appearances of Tee Mac, Pat Uwaje King, Mike Abdul and Princess Ann Inyang (aka Lady of gospel songs). The kid sensation had prior to this feat, dropped 2 videos and 9 sizzling singles featuring A-list artistes such as MI Chairman, Flavour, Terry G, Olamide, Yemi Sax and Lamboginny. 
The shoot in question was kicked off with prayers and the studio set was packed full with heavy media presence of top entertainment personalities who came to support their boy. Television stations, newspaper and magazine representatives, online media personnel, OzzyBosco’s team and his ever cheerful fans were not left out of the fun. 
Perfect set, supportive crowd, energetic artiste; every arrangement was spot-on to ensure an awesome video production that is set to cause media frenzy. OzzyB, as fondly called, who is filled with contagious positive energy kept all present on set thrilled with his non-stop artistic display. The video contained mind-blowing dance performances both contemporary and cultural, as well as incepts of Roman drama; making the four minutes video a good material to watch out for …COMING SOON!!!

Besides performing music, the recently appointed LAWMA AMBASSADOR in partnership with Lagos State Waste Management Authority is set to kick-off his pet project, Cleanliness Revolution Campaign tagged: “Keep Lagos Clean” ...children lead, adults follow!!! The project will see him working with the 57 LGAs and LCDAs of Lagos state in a bi-monthly sanitation exercise. He will be employing the power of music and influence of celebrity status to sensitize and educate kids/teens who are the future generation. Also to re-orientate our general populace on the need to imbibe the new cleanliness drive, which is cleanliness in all ramifications; don’t drop it on the floor!!! …at homes, schools and public places. The kid-star OzzyB has shown incredible potentials in all aspects of life which can be harnessed to drive positive and sustainable change in our teens/youths, especially with adult encouragement, support and proper management. Sad news! Prof. Dora Akunyili has passed on



We've heard rumours of her death a few times before but unfortunately this time it's for real. Former Director General of NAFDAC and former Minister of Information Prof. Dora Akunyili has died. She died in the Indian hospital where she was taken to on May 11 to receive medical treatment after her health deteriorated.

Various reliable sources have confirmed her passing. She was only 59. So sad! May her soul rest in peace, Amen.

During an Interview with Toke Makinwa on ‘Trending’ on Hip Tv, the YBNL records CEO revealed that his greatest pain that has accompanied the fame and status change he has witnessed, is his inability to enter into a ‘Buka’freely to enjoy his favorite meal ‘Bread and ewa agoyin’.
When asked about how he felt about the change that has accompanied the fame, he was glad about it and expressed his pain about not being about to move freely without bodyguards and security detials.
Hear him… “Lastly, E dey pain me! Na the only wey dey pain me pass be that. Right now, I can’t just go to one ‘Buka’ and go and eat ewa agoyin again.”

The Grand Finale which held at Eagles Club Surulere saw Nigeria’s finest artistes Wande Coal, Kcee, Harrysong, Sean Tizzle and May D mounting the elaborate Star Music Trek stage for the final time this year and thrilling thousands of music fans who thronged the venue to watch scintillating performances from their favourite stars.

Comic duo Gbenga Adeyinka and Laff Up hosted the over eight hour event living up to prime billing as they effortlessly entertained the eager audience with their eclectic styles.
Pop legend, 2Face Idibia gave Lagos fans an unforgettable experience from his royal entrance to the phenomenal live performance of his hit singles including True Love, Nfana Ibaga, If Love Is A Crime, African Queen and many more. His duet with gyration master now lawmaker, Hon. Tony One Week on Ife Di Nma had the audience wild with excitement.

Star Music Trek 2104 only female headliner, Tiwa Savage made another grand entrance on a power bike to the amazement of thousands who gathered at Eagles Club, Surulere to watch her and fellow headliner artistes perform for the final edition of Star Music Trek 2014.
She went on to deliver the most captivating performance seen from the pop diva yet singingKeleKele Love, Ileke, Eminado while collaborating with Traffic and Mavin Records colleagues, Aphrodija, Reekado Banks, Korede Roberts to perform Quality over Quantity and Dorobuccirespectively.

Kcee rewarded an ardent Star Music Trek Fan, Marvelous Ikechukwu with $200 whom he recognized as having been at every city he performed. The Imo State University undergraduate went on to confirm he had been on the Trek for the past five weeks moving through Orlu, Ekwulobia, Onitsha, Benin, Ado-Ekiti and Lagos.

Dressed in gold studded all black ensemble, he was joined by fellow 5-Star music artiste, Harrysong to perform Limpopo and Pull Over before setting up his notable dance competition.
Wande Coal went retro taking fans back to his Mo Hits days with tracks such as Bumper To Bumper, You Bad, Kiss Your Hands and Taboo. He also performed recently released Rotate, Sexcellency, The Kick and Baby Hello.
Sean Tizzle continued in Santa Claus mode from Ado Ekiti giving out jewelry and cash while performing Loke Loke. Lagos fans however reciprocated the love giving him hats, glasses and jewellry in return.

Mr May D never forgets his roots as a dancer always ensuring fans get a double dose during his performances. He performed Sound Trak and You Gat Me High to the teeming audience at Star Music Trek, Lagos.

Phyno showed that he is not just the King of the East but dominates the West as well as fans rapped enthusiastically to Alobam, Parcel, Kush, Ghost mode and O set.
Olamide made a surprise entrance to deliver an exceptional performance with Phyno on Ghost Mode and Dope Money. He went on to give one of the most talked about performances of the night from his popular tracks including Stupid Love, Durosoke, Anifowose, Turn Up among many others which had passionate fans screaming in excitement even after he left the stage.

Fast rising star Dammy Krane and rapper EFA got a chance to entertain Lagos fans performing Grateful and Open and Close respectively.

Star Music Treks final Trek Gig also held on May 30th at Caucus Bar, Oshodi. Consumers got an opportunity to win fantastic prizes such as branded rugs, headphones, home theatres through a raffle draw.
The concert had also toured Nsukka, Makurdi, Uyo, Ekwulobia, Orlu, Onitsha, Benin, Ado Ekiti before culminating in grand finale in Lagos.
